Getting started with Holdout Pro

Your receipt email from Lemon Squeezy contains your license key and the NinjaTrader download. Setup takes about five minutes.

NinjaTrader 8

  1. Download the HoldoutPro.zip file from your receipt. Don't unzip it.
  2. In NinjaTrader: Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On… and pick the zip file. Restart NinjaTrader if it asks.
  3. Save your license key: create the folder Documents\Holdout if it doesn't exist, and inside it a text file named holdout_license.txt containing only your key.
  4. Open a chart, right-click → Indicators, type Holdout in the search box, and add the ones you want.
  5. The first time an indicator loads it checks your key online and registers this computer. One key covers up to 3 computers (to move it, email us). After that it keeps working for up to 72 hours without internet.

If you see "license key missing" or "not recognised", check that the file name is exactly holdout_license.txt (Windows sometimes hides a second .txt) and that it contains only the key.

Chart setup. Any instrument works. For intraday use, pick a 1-minute or 5-minute chart with an extended-hours trading-hours template (for NQ or ES: CME US Index Futures ETH) so the overnight levels have data. Set each indicator's "Platform time zone" to the time zone your chart displays (default: Eastern).

Strategies. Holdout ORB Strategy and Holdout Noise Strategy start in Markers mode (no orders). Only switch to Live after testing on a Sim account.

TradingView (free Lite)

  1. Sign up on the free page, then reply to the receipt email with your TradingView username.
  2. Access is added within 24 hours and TradingView sends you a notification.
  3. On a chart: Indicators → Invite-only scripts → add Holdout Session Levels Lite.
  4. Turn on extended trading hours for the symbol so the overnight levels work.

Managing your subscription

Update your card, cancel, download invoices or look up your license key any time in the customer portal (sign in with your purchase email). When a subscription ends, the NinjaTrader indicators stop at their next license check.
